A Message From Our President
By the time most of you come to our agency for help in finding an egg donor, my guess is that you have had a journey filled with a lot of challenges, disappointments and heartaches along the way. If this is your first time contacting an egg donor agency, then I’m guessing you are also nervous about the process and still likely coming to terms with the idea of having someone else (a “stranger” at that), help you have a family.
So this is where I would like to tell you that everything WILL be okay. No matter how scared or nervous you are now, just continue to remind yourself that having a family is so often a practice in the art of perseverance. If you hang in there, sometimes even against pretty difficult odds, you will achieve your dream. The hardest part is overcoming your fear of “choosing” the right and/or perfect donor.
In over a decade of working with intended parents, I’ve have never had a single person come back and wish they had not gone through this process. I’ve never had a parent question whether they felt their child was 100% their own in every sense of the word. Nor have I had a parent come back and wish they had used a different egg donor to help them build their family. The child you have is the one you are and always were meant to have.
We are here to help guide you along the way and help make this process just a little bit easier for you. Our goal is to share the burden of all you feel about what needs to be done. And hopefully, we are here to help facilitate everything that needs to be accomplished so that you can move forward with experiencing the joy that comes with building the family you’ve always envisioned.
When looking for an egg donor agency that will meet the needs of you and your family, it helps to know a bit more about an organization. Egg donation has touched all of us in a very personal way, which is the primary reason we come to work at an egg donor agency each and every morning. We have over 14 wonderful years of experience working with hundreds of families, and we cherish each and every one of the stories our recipients and donors share with us.
Aside from working with the top reproductive specialists in the nation, our agency makes great efforts to stay on top of industry trends, regulations and practices – all for your benefit. Our President is a founding member and President of the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS).
We regularly attend seminars with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) to stay on top of the cutting edge of reproductive technology. We only work with doctors who practice in strict accordance with FDA and HIPPA guidelines. Our donors are carefully chosen, screened and presented realistically, so that our intended parents can get to know them as people.
We welcome the opportunity to get to know you and your family and earn the greatest possible compliment: to be the agency you choose to help you achieve your dreams.
- Availability: Our staff is available via phone, email, text, Skype or a visit to our office – and we pride ourselves in returning messages promptly.

Founder and CEO
I was lucky enough to have had a pivotal experience when I was young that instantly determined the course of my life. In my early 20s I was an egg donor for a woman who had struggled with and eventually became a survivor of breast cancer. At that point, there was nothing else that meant as much to me as being able to help someone have a baby, especially someone who had already overcome so many obstacles in her own life. Couple this with several close friends in the LGBT community who were actively working towards expanding their own families, and I made the decision to dedicate my professional life to helping all types of families achieve their dreams of having children.
As part of my dedication, I stay actively involved in what’s happening in our industry and support the changes I feel are necessary in our field. So much so that I co-founded and am current president of the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS). I am also an active board member of Parents Via Egg Donation, the largest support site for families going through the process of using donor eggs, as well as a proud member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). I volunteer my time and support with RESOLVE and I’ve co-authored the book, “The Insider’s Guide to Egg Donation: A Compassionate and Comprehensive Guide for All Parents-to-Be.” Published in the spring of 2012, it won a Ben Franklin Award in 2013 for our chapter on LGBT egg donation.
Encouraged by the support of several IVF clinics, doctors and staff members I’d become close to over the past decade, I started my own egg donation and surrogacy agency in 2009. I strongly believe all of our clients deserve, and should expect compassion, honesty and respect as they move forward on this journey. I look forward to meeting you and offering all the guidance and support you may need throughout your journey.
Wendie serves on the board of Parents Via Egg Donation and is the co-author of the book, “The Insiders Guide to Egg Donation: A Compassionate and Comprehensive Guide for All Parents-To-Be,” published by Demos Health in Spring of 2012.

I first heard about egg donation while in college in the early 1990s. The thought of helping others in need was very appealing to me from the start and of course, an added benefit was that I was able to quickly pay off student loans in what I felt was a “win-win” situation. To this day, nothing has compared to my experience as an egg donor. After each cycle I couldn’t wait to be matched again and help someone else. Eventually I began working in the industry and have made it my life’s work for over a decade.
During my journey in the ART industry, I came to meet a very special person, Wendie Wilson-Miller, who would later become an integral part of my professional life. Over the years, we formed a very strong bond and agreed to start an agency according to our own philosophy. From the moment we opened our doors I felt that my life was where it was supposed to be and things had fallen into place naturally. It’s an amazing feeling to wake up every day knowing I’m helping change someone’s life for the better, even though this process isn’t always easy.
It never stops making me happy to help hopeful parents through the process of choosing their donor. In sharing my own story with them, they are able to see the other side of the experience and realize just how much it means to a donor to help create a family. Each time I interview a prospective egg donor, I hope to inspire them as well, and they are, almost without exception, very responsive and enthusiastic. There is an abundance of altruistic, compassionate, and caring young women out there, each of whom are meant for special people just waiting to find them.
I was born and raised in the French region of Switzerland, where I earned my degree from business school before moving to the United States. Having always wanted to live in California, I chose Los Angeles as my first (and final!) destination. It was here where I met and married the love of my life and father of our beautiful daughter, Sienna. Being a mother is what makes working for Gifted Journeys the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had. Wendie continues to be a constant inspiration in my life since meeting her almost nine years ago, and also encourages my other passion, painting.
The first time I was introduced to egg donation I was 20 years old and witnessed a good friend struggle with getting pregnant. One afternoon we were discussing what the next step was for her and she told me she was searching for an egg donor. I instantly offered her my eggs. Though she was not comfortable accepting them because she wanted it to be anonymous, the experience opened my eyes to a way I could help others. A few months later I came across a newspaper ad for an agency that was looking for egg donors. I carried it in my wallet for more than two years until I decided to stop thinking about it and actually do it.
Being a donor is in the top five things I am most grateful and proud of in my life. Being able to help a family realize their dream is indescribable and has become my life’s passion. Since I was limited as far as the number of people I could donate to, I figured the next best thing was to help them through the process of finding a donor and sharing my story.
There is nothing that makes me happier than to hear three little words: ”I am pregnant!” or “We are pregnant!” No matter how long I do this, or how many families share this news, I always seem to tear up. I hope that I get to hear those words from you!
Having worked for quite a few years with another egg donation/surrogacy agency (alongside Wendie!), I completely understand the struggles of intended parents and how confusing the process of egg donation (and of course, surrogacy) can seem. I hope that in my role as Surrogacy Director, I’ll be able to de-mystify the experience and make it as smooth as possible. My favorite part of the job is and has always been watching so many great people become parents so I really look forward to working with you on fulfilling your dreams! When not in the office, I like travel (to Paris), reading (about English and French history), and eating (Nutella).
I grew up in northern Minnesota, the youngest of six children. From a young age my interest has been in working to help others and working for social change. In 2005 my first nephew was born and it changed my life for the good. To date I have 11 nieces and nephews but I have seen the real struggles that some of the women in my family went through to conceive children. Since graduating from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota I have found my way to Los Angeles, California. It was here, through a mutual friend, that I met Wendie and learned of her amazing agency, Gifted Journeys. I am thrilled to be working with Gifted Journeys and to be able to bring joy, laughter, and the beauty of a child to so many families.
