In my early twenties, I donated my eggs to an amazing young woman who was in remission from breast cancer. After seeing the opportunity that was given to her by the technological advancement of reproductive medicine, it occurred to me that this was the single most amazing experience of my life to date.

Ever since, I have committed myself to the field of assisted reproduction-still going strong nearly a decade later. I graduated from the University of Washington in 1998 with a degree in Speech Communication, spending several years doing competitive Speech and Debate at the national level. I've used my public speaking skills at many assisted reproduction events and symposiums to speak with intended parents and potential donors about family building opportunities.
With the support of several IVF clinics, doctors, and staff members that I have become close to throughout the years, I was encouraged to start my own egg donation agency. From this support, Gifted Journeys was born. I plan to continue spreading the word about egg donation and the opportunities that are out there for both recipients and donors. Implementing my belief that all loving people who want a chance to start or grow their family, without judgement or bias, and with equal opportunity and support, should have that option.

I began working as a professional musical theatre actress as a young child, and after attending The American Academy of Dramatic Arts on an acting scholarship, I decided to learn the production side of the entertainment industry.

While producing commercials and music videos for companies such as Apple and Petco, I was offered the opportunity to be the Marketing Director for one of the most respected egg donation agencies in the country. At the time, I did not know too much about the industry, but I thought I would investigate.
When I began my work there, I was able to talk one on one with the intended parents and was overwhelmed by the amazing stories I heard. Coming from a close, large, loud family myself, I could understand the desperation these people felt. Over the years, I have seen many people hurt by the pain of infertility and it has been so rewarding to watch them start their family, and begin a new, exciting chapter in their lives. It was also working at that agency that I met two of my closest friends, Wendie Wilson and Tina Barbagallo, who shared my passion for this process. The three of us decided to form Gifted Journeys together so that we could expand the number of people we can help.
Egg Donation has touched my life a thousand times over and I am proud to be a part of this incredible team!

I first heard about egg donation in college in the early 1990‘s. The thought of helping others in need was very appealing to me, and by doing so, I was able to pay off student loans as well. To this day, nothing has compared to my experience as an egg donor. Eventually, I began working in the industry and have made it my life’s work.

While employed at an agency, I came to meet two very special women who would later become an integral part of my life. Over the years, we formed a very strong bond and decided to start our own agency so that we would be able to run our company according to our own philosophy. It’s an amazing feeling to wake up every day knowing that I’m helping change someone’s life for the better. I felt that my life was where it was supposed to be and things had fallen into place naturally.
It gives me great pleasure to listen to what couples have to say and help them through the process of choosing their donor. In sharing my own story with them, they are able to see the other side and realize just how much it means to a donor to help create a family. Each time I interview a prospective egg donor, I hope to inspire them as well, and they are without exception very responsive and enthusiastic. This tells me that there is an abundance of altruistic, compassionate, and caring young women out there, each of which are meant for a couple just waiting to find them.
